KSrelief’s Masam Project Clears 574 Mines in Yemen in a Week

ADEN: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief) Masam Project, has helped to clear 574 mines across various regions in Yemen during the first week of March, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.

The project helped to successfully dismantle four anti-personnel mines, 54 anti-tank mines, and 516 unexploded ordnance.

Since the beginning of the project, a total of 434,576 mines have been cleared.

Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, remains committed to clear Yemen of all land mines. This menace has caused the loss of lives and injuries to innocent children, women, and the elderly.
