KUWAIT: Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Monday received the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
During the meeting at Bayan Palace, Prince Faisal conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the Kuwaiti Amir.
They also wished for further progress and prosperity for Kuwait and its people.
Foreign Minister of Kuwait Abdullah Al-Yahya and other senior officials also attended the meeting.
Meanwhile, the Saudi Foreign Minister also held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
Prince Faisal conveyed the greetings of Saudi leadership to Sheikh Ahmad, and congratulated him on his appointment as prime minister of the country, wishing him continued success.
The two leaders reviewed the long-standing ties between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and ways to further enhance them and discussed aspects of cooperation.
According to the SPA Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud also held a separate meeting with Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two officials reviewed the strong ties between their countries and the shared goals of attaining further progress and prosperity.
They also discussed regional and global issues of mutual concern.
