BISHKEK: Bishkek is set to host the Turkic States Summit on Artificial Intelligence (AI) on October 9-10, the Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan said in a statement.
The event will gather representatives from government agencies, leading AI experts, the business community, academia, and IT professionals from Turkic countries, Central Asia, and beyond.
“The summit will serve as a unique platform for discussing the latest advancements in AI, sharing experiences, and developing strategies to enhance AI implementation in public administration, business, and social initiatives. Attendees will include representatives from the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS): Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkey. Turkmenistan and Hungary will participate as observer countries,” the statement said.
According to the statement the key objectives of the summit include developing AI strategies within the Turkic world, promoting innovation and technological progress among OTS nations, utilizing AI to preserve and advance Turkic languages, strengthening economic and scientific-technical cooperation in AI, attracting investment in AI projects and startups and addressing ethical and legal issues surrounding AI use.
Government agencies will have access to best practices for AI integration in public administration and opportunities to bolster international collaboration. The business community will gain a chance to identify new clients and partners, enter fresh markets, and showcase innovative AI solutions. Academia will be able to forge scientific research partnerships and secure funding for their projects.
The summit will also feature master classes and workshops for IT developers, enabling them to enhance their skills and familiarize themselves with the latest technologies.
