Kyrgyzstan’s President Conveys Condolences to Czech Counterpart Over University Shooting Tragedy

BISHKEK: President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, has extended heartfelt condolences to President Petr Pavel of the Czech Republic in the wake of the tragic shooting incident at Charles University in Prague. The shooting, carried out by a 24-year-old student on December 21, resulted in the loss of 14 lives and left 25 individuals injured.

Expressing his deep sadness over the unfortunate incident, President Japarov conveyed his sympathies and condolences to the families of the victims and the entire Czech populace. In a statement, President Japarov stated, “I was deeply saddened to learn about human losses and injuries as a result of the shooting at Charles University in Prague.”

The Kyrgyz President further added, “I express my sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the Czech people. I pray for the speedy recovery of those injured.”
