Kyrgyzstan’s President Visits Academy of Physical Culture: Report

BISHKEK: Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov has inspected the football, track and field arena, which had undergone major reconstruction, local media reported on Friday.

The heating and ventilation system was renewed, new windows, more lighting was installed, and the sewer networks were re-laid, local media maintained. Similarly, the wrestling mats in the freestyle wrestling room have also been replaced. A separate room with stained glass windows was also allocated for table tennis.

During the reconstruction, attention was also paid to the surface of the running tracks and football field. For these objectives, the arena has a rubber coating that meets international standards. On May 4 last year, President Sadyr Japarov got acquainted with the state of the academy and also ordered to find funds for a complete overhaul of the football and track.  The president graduated from this academy with honors in 1992 with a degree in coaching.
