PARIS: Pop superstar Lady Gaga has confirmed her engagement to longtime partner Michael Polansky during a star-studded appearance at the Paris Olympics 2024.
The couple was seen enjoying the swimming events at the Olympics with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal when Gaga introduced Polansky as her “fiancé.”
The announcement comes after months of speculation and rumors about the couple’s relationship status. The engagement was first hinted at earlier this year when Gaga was photographed wearing a large diamond ring during an outing in West Hollywood.
Despite the buzz, representatives for Gaga, known for her roles in “A Star Is Born” and “Joker,” declined to comment on the engagement at that time.
Lady Gaga, 38, has been engaged twice before, to actor Taylor Kinney and talent agent Christian Carino. Her relationship with Polansky, a 46-year-old entrepreneur and tech investor, began in 2019.
Although they were first linked publicly that year, the couple made their relationship Instagram official only in 2020. Since then, they have kept their relationship relatively private, opting for a low-key approach to their personal lives.
