Lawmakers, Religious Scholars Visit Kurram

PESHAWAR: On the directives of the chief minister lawmakers and ulema from Bannu, Kohat, and Hangu visited the Kurram district to establish long term peace in the area. Member National Assembly (MNA) Kurram Engineer Hamid Hussain, Commissioner Kohat Moatasim Billah Shah, Deputy Commissioner Kurram Javedullah Mehsud, and District Police Officer (DPO) Kurram Ahmed Shah were also present during the trip which aimed to address the current tensions in the area and restore law and order.

The delegation visited the village of Boshehra and the central Imambargah in Parachinar, where they offered prayers for those who lost their lives in recent incidents. They discussed the land disputes in the area and also assured that these problems would be resolved on priority basis.

They emphasized that experienced revenue officers would play their positive role in addressing the land disputes to establish permanent peace in the region. The delegation also stressed the urgency of addressing these problems to ensure long term peace. They also hoped that everyone would work together for the progress and prosperity of the area.
