RAWALPINDI: Unidentified shooters shot dead a lawyer in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, on Monday morning.
Advocate, Sheikh Imran was on his way back home after dropping his children at school when the gunmen targeted him in the garrison city’s Dheri area of Hasanabad locality.
Lawyer succumbed before being shifted to hospital
The attackers riding a motorcycle sprayed Imran’s car with bullets and escaped the scene. The lawyer succumbed to his wounds before being shifted to the hospital.
Civil Lines Police Station sent the dead body to a hospital for autopsy and launched an investigation into the murder. The police said the incident looked like a targeted killing.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Nasir Mahmood took notice of the lawyer’s murder and sought a report from the City Police Officer.
