TEHRAN, Iran: A pro-Iran Telegram channel has leaked two purported US intelligence documents, revealing Israel’s potential military preparations for a strike on Iran.
The news appearing in Shafaq News, The leak has raised serious security concerns in the US, though the authenticity of the documents remains unchallenged.
According to the reports, Israel has been planning retaliation against Iran following an Iranian missile strike on October 1, 2023.
The documents reportedly contain detailed US intelligence on Israeli military activities, including the movement of advanced munitions and a large-scale training exercise by the Israeli Air Force.
These exercises involved intelligence aircraft and fighter jets, suggesting an imminent Israeli operation. Additionally, Israel’s drone units were reportedly preparing for a strike.
Though the Pentagon and US intelligence agencies have refrained from commenting, US officials expressed alarm over the security breach, fearing its impact on Israel’s operational plans. Israel’s defence establishment is aware of the leak and is reportedly addressing the matter.
