ISLAMABAD: Daman-e-Koh, a beautiful recreational spot in the Federal Capital Islamabad, has become a major source of attraction for visitors, including international tourists.
The eye-catching view of Islamabad from Daman-e-Koh makes the visit wonderful and enjoyable, especially during the holy month of Ramazan.
Sarfraz Ahmed, a resident of G-10, who recently visited the place with his family, said that the natural and peaceful atmosphere at the Daman-e-Koh, Margalla Hills, made their weekend pleasant and entertained.
“It is a wonderful place to visit with families where cool breeze is blowing all the time, and natural environment with fresh air fills my lungs,” he added.
Huma Ali Malik, a resident of Lahore, said that people are observing the natural beauty of the lush green mountains and enjoying the fresh air. During the holy month of Ramazan, she said a large number of people visit the place to make their weekends full of enthusiasm.
However, she urged the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to make arrangements to ensure cleanliness and security arrangements to facilitate the tourists. The car parking facility is provided close to the Northern Spot, where some small tuck shops and a cafe cater to the needs of guests.
Huma Ali further suggested that the CDA should establish a mosque for offering prayers five times a day at Daman-e-Koh.
