GENERAL SANTOS CITY: The European Mediterranean Seismological Center has said that magnitude-6 earthquake struck Mindanao in the Philippines on Tuesday.
The quake was recorded at a depth of 8km below the earth’s surface, EMSC said.
Previous Earthquake
A 6-magnitude earthquake had rocked the southern Philippines on February 1, according to the US Geological Survey with local authorities warning of aftershocks and possible damage. The shallow quake struck at 6:44 p.m. near Monkayo municipality in Davao de Oro province on Mindanao island.
