Weather Update: Mainly Cold, Dry Weather Expected in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The upcoming 12 hours will bring mainly cold and dry conditions across most parts of the country, with partly cloudy skies anticipated in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Potohar Region, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Fog and smog are likely to persist in the plains of Punjab and upper Sindh.

This morning’s temperature readings for major cities were as follows: Islamabad at eight degrees Celsius, Lahore at seven, Karachi at nineteen, Peshawar and Quetta at ten, Gilgit at zero, Murree at three, and Muzaffarabad at six degrees Celsius.

Looking ahead to the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula are expected to experience very cold and partly cloudy conditions. Meanwhile, Leh is likely to see very cold weather with light rain and drizzle.

The recorded temperatures this morning were as follows: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian at one degree Celsius, Jammu at ten, Leh at minus seven, Pulwama at zero, and Baramula at two degrees Celsius.
