Weather Update: Mainly Dry Weather Expected in Pakistan Today

ISLAMABAD: Mostly, the plain regions across the country anticipate cold and dry weather, with the western districts expecting partial cloud cover.

Northwestern districts of Balochistan are likely to experience cloudy conditions along with rain and thunderstorms in Gwadar, Chaghi, Turbat, and nearby areas within the next twelve hours.

Fog and smog are expected to persist during morning and night hours in upper Sindh, plain areas of Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Additionally, dense fog might endure in select plain areas of Punjab.

This morning’s temperatures in major cities were recorded as follows: Islamabad at three degrees Celsius, Lahore at eleven, Karachi at seventeen, Peshawar and Quetta at five, Gilgit at minus three, Murree at two, and Muzaffarabad at four degrees Celsius.

As for the weather forecast in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla expect cold and partly cloudy conditions, while Leh anticipates cold and dry weather.

Temperatures recorded this morning were as follows: Srinagar, Pulwama, and Anantnag at minus three degrees Celsius, Jammu at six, Leh at minus twelve, Shopian at minus four, and Baramulla at minus one degree Celsius.
