PESHAWAR: The Provincial Meteorological Center Peshawar on Monday forecasted dry, hot, and humid weather over most districts of the province.
However, it stated that isolated rain and thunderstorm with gusty winds would likely occur in Mansehra, Abbottabad, Battagram, Torghar, Shangla, Kohistan, Buner, Upper Dir, Swat, and Kurram districts.
Partly cloudy and humid weather occurred in most districts of the province during the last 24 hours. However, wind, rain, and thunderstorms occurred in Mohmand, Swat, Mardan, Bunner, D.I. Khan, Nowshera, Bannu, and Kurram districts.
Rain recorded (in mm): Risalpur 20, Cherat 35, Takht Bhai 26, Parachinar 10, Saidu Sharif 13, Bannu 11, Mohmand (Ghalani 03 and Mamad Gut 07), Buner 02 and D.I.Khan (Airport Trace, City 01). The maximum wind recorded (in km/hr) in Peshawar (Airport 48 and City 41).
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in °C at various localities of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP): Chitral 33/18, Timergara 36/23, Peshawar City 36/24, Dir 32/16, Drosh 35/20, Saidu Sharif 34/17, Pattan 37/24, Mirkhani 38/20, Kalam 25/08, Malam Jabba 23/15, Takht Bhai 34/20, Kakul 29/17, Bannu 37/19, Cherat 29/16, D.I. Khan 38/25 Balakot 33/20, Parachinar 29/13.
Mirkhani and D I Khan each had the province’s maximum recorded temperature of 38°C. —APP
