PARIS: Pakistani Nobel prize winner Malala Yousafzai met with Pakistani players taking part in the Paris Olympics 2024, local media reported. She expressed her support for the players in a social media post with the caption “So proud of Team Pakistan @olympics.” Malala Yousafzai’s husband Asser Malik can also be seen in the image with the Paris Olympics rings in the background.

Earlier, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) had invited Malala Yousafzai to meet players and also act as a guest of honour in one of the award-giving ceremonies during the games on Friday. As per media reports, she accepted the invitation to be part of the Olympics.
