LILONGWE: Malawi President Lazarus Chakwera on Tuesday affirmed his country’s full support for Saudi Arabia’s bid to host Expo 2030.
During a meeting with Saudi Royal Court Adviser Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Kattan in Lilongwe, Lazarus Chakwera also appreciated the first Saudi-African Summit and the 5th Arab-African Summit that will be held in Saudi Arabia later this year, Arab News reported.
During a press briefing, Nancy Tembo, Malawi’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, reaffirmed Lilongwe’s support for Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the World Expo in Riyadh.
Kattan Conveys Saudi King’s Message
Kattan also conveyed a verbal message to President Lazarus Chakwera from King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud related to ties between Saudi Arabia and Malawi and ways to further enhance joint cooperation.
