Mango Sandwich Recipe

ISLAMABAD: The mango sandwich, made with just 2-3 key ingredients, is a delightful way to incorporate mango into your diet.

Ingredients:

  • 8-10 Thin Mango Slices
  • 1 Bowl Cream or Greek Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Mango Puree
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine the cream or Greek yogurt, cardamom powder, sugar, and mango puree (or finely mashed mango pieces). Chill the mixture in the fridge.
  2. Trim the brown edges off the bread slices.
  3. Spread the chilled cream mixture onto the bread slices. Place 4-5 mango slices on each slice and top with another slice of bread to make a sandwich.
  4. Chill the sandwiches in the fridge for an additional 5 minutes if desired, or enjoy immediately.
