Mansehra to Get First Scout Cadet College for Girls

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani government has approved the establishment of the girls’ first scout cadet college in Airgah, Mansehra, Darband, said Mohammad Sajjad Awan, a PML-N MNA from NA-14.

Talking to the media, the lawmaker said that work would start there soon. Initially, it will be set up at Pakistan Scout Cadet College Batrasi. It will become a full scout college later. He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved the initiative at his special request, and he has ordered concerned stakeholders to start the construction at the site as early as possible.

The member of the national assembly lauded the Prime Minister for demonstrating a commitment to the education of girls, which will offer them different opportunities to contribute to the country’s development.

College to contribute for Pakistan’s prosperity

He noted that women’s empowerment is vital for Pakistan’s economy’s prosperity, and the federal government is doing everything for the country’s economic revival. It is to be noted here that Sajjad Awan is the brother of Safdar Awan, who is the husband of Maryam Nawaz.
