ISLAMABAD: Before achieving her immense success in Hollywood, Margot Robbie had to work a variety of jobs to make ends meet. The 31-year-old Australian actress, known for her roles in “The Wolf of Wall Street” and “Birds of Prey,” recently opened up about her journey to becoming an actor and the challenges she faced along the way.

Robbie revealed that she had dropped out of law school to pursue acting, which was her ultimate goal. She knew that earning money was crucial to achieving this goal, and so she worked at various jobs to support herself.

The actress worked at a surf shop for two years before moving on to work as a babysitter and making sandwiches at a global sandwich chain. She also worked at a grocery store and a pharmacy and took on jobs as a waitress and cleaner.

Margot Robbie emphasizes importance of training

Despite having a strong desire to become an actor, Robbie emphasized the importance of getting formal training and working hard to develop her craft. She spent two years studying with coaches to learn the business of acting and to rid herself of her Australian accent.

“Don’t think that I came to the United States without any artistic training. I had to get rid of my Australian accent, Crocodile Dundee-style,” Robbie said. “In short, there was a lot going on!”

Robbie’s hard work and dedication paid off, as she has become one of Hollywood’s most sought-after actresses. She has received critical acclaim for her performances in films like “Suicide Squad,” “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” “Terminal,” and “Promising Young Woman,” among others.

Despite her success, Robbie remains grounded and grateful for the opportunities she has been given. She is an inspiration to aspiring actors and anyone else who has faced obstacles on their path to success.
