RAWALPINDI: The funeral prayer for Pakistan Army soldier Shakeel Shafqat, who was martyred while gallantly fighting terrorists in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, was held today in his native village of Kabirwala in the Khanewal district of Punjab, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a press release.
The Pakistan Army soldier, Shakeel Shafqat, was martyred in the line of duty while combatting terrorists in North Waziristan. He displayed exceptional bravery and dedication to safeguarding the nation. In recognition of his sacrifice, he was laid to rest with full military honors.
The funeral prayer was attended by military and civilian officials, as well as the martyr’s relatives and members of the community from different walks of life.
