LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday responded to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan’s statement, saying, “Some people never learn.”
Maryam Nawaz said in her X post that she thought that the PTI chairman would hold himself accountable after ‘reaping what he sowed.’
Maryam said that she believed Imran Khan would change his thinking after facing difficulties, but after what he said in the court (Adiala Jail) today, it seems some people never learn.
She said that the PTI chief has once again lied and hurled baseless accusations against his political rivals.
Maryam Nawaz said that many complaints regarding rigging in the elections have been received from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Free and Fair Election Network’s (FAFEN) report also ‘exposed’ the PTI as the prime beneficiary of irregularities in the consolidation of the results, she added.

Imran Khan Rules Out Possibility of Talks
Earlier, Imran Khan ruled out the possibility of talks with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) for the formation of the government.
He, in his informal media talk in Adiala Jail, where he is incarcerated in Toshakhana, illegal nikah case, and Cipher cases, he said his party would not negotiate with PPP, PML-N, and MQM-P for the formation of the government.
However, Imran Khan said that he had directed his party leaders to hold negotiations with other parties.
He claimed PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz lost the elections.
