TEHRAN: The election for Iran’s 12th round of parliamentary elections and the sixth round of the Assembly of Experts held on Friday with massive presence of foreign media and observers to ensure transparency.
Over 350 international journalists cover news on Iran’s elections. To ensure the security of the elections, more than 250,000 individuals have been tasked with this responsibility countrywide.

Massive Public Observation Ensures Transparency in Iran’s Polls

Iran’s Deputy Minister of Interior has confirmed that nearly 300,000 people were actively engaged in safeguarding the electoral process. Tahan Nazif, spokesperson for the Constitutional Council, said that approximately 230,000 public observers have monitored the elections, emphasized the commitment to transparency and fairness in the electoral proceedings.
According to Tehran State TV, Ayatollah Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic, was the first person to cast his vote in the center of Tehran.
