Weather Update: No Rain Yet in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi

ISLAMABAD: In most regions of the country, predominantly cold and dry weather is expected in the next twelve hours, with particularly chilly temperatures predicated for the northern areas, according to the Met Office.

Temperatures in major cities this morning were as follows:

  • Islamabad: 5°C
  • Lahore: 11°C
  • Karachi: 15°C
  • Peshawar and Muzaffarabad: 8°C
  • Quetta and Murree: 4°C
  • Gilgit: -2°C

According to the weather forecast Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) are expected to experience very cold and dry weather, while Leh will be partly cloudy and very cold, and Jammu will have cold and dry weather.

Temperatures recorded this morning were:

  • Srinagar, Anantnag, and Baramulla: 2°C
  • Jammu: 11°C
  • Leh: -10°C
  • Pulwama and Shopian: 1°C
