Met Office Predicts Hot Weather in Most Parts of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Mainly hot weather is predicted in most areas of Pakistan, while very hot with dust raising winds and gusty winds are likely in southern parts over the next twelve hours. However, rain and thunderstorms are also expected at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Additionally, there may be windstorms and gusty winds with isolated rain and thunderstorms in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar region, and northeast Punjab during the evening and night.

  • Murree: 20°C
  • Lahore: 30°C
  • Karachi: 30°C
  • Peshawar: 25°C
  • Quetta: 17°C
  • Gilgit: 18°C
  • Muzaffarabad: 22°C

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), partly cloudy weather with chances of windstorms, rain, and thunderstorms is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Meanwhile, Jammu will experience very hot and dry conditions during the day, with chances of windstorms, rain, and thunderstorms in the evening and night.
