Met Office predicts Rain-Wind/Thunderstorm with Snow Over Mountains

ISLAMABAD: Rain, wind, thunderstorms, and snowfall are expected in several regions of Pakistan, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.

Over the next twelve hours, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad, and upper/central Punjab are likely to experience these weather conditions. Additionally, isolated hailstorms may occur during this period.

Meanwhile, some plain areas of Punjab may witness fog and smog in the morning hours, while dry weather is anticipated in the rest of the country.

Here are the morning temperatures recorded in major Pakistani cities:

Islamabad and Muzafarabad: 12°C

Lahore: 18°C

Karachi: 24°C

Peshawar: 15°C

Quetta and Gilgit: 6°C

Murree: 8°C

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather with the potential for rain, wind, and thunderstorms is expected in Srinagar, Pulwama, Shopian, Anantnag, Leh, Baramula, and Jammu.

Here are the morning temperatures recorded in various locations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir:

Srinagar and Pulwama: 4°C

Jammu: 15°C

Leh: -3°C

Anantnag and Shopian: 6°C

Baramula: 8°C
