Mickey Arthur Optimistic of Cricket Team’s Triumph in ODI World Cup

LAHORE: Pakistan men’s cricket team Director, Mickey Arthur, expressed confidence in the Pakistan squad selected for the ICC World Cup 2023.

In a post on the social networking platform X (formerly Twitter), Arthur conveyed his optimism about the team’s prospects in cricket’s premier tournament.

He expressed full confidence in the players and showed optimism about the team’s success in the cricket World Cup

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Selector Inzamamul Haq had recently unveiled the squad for the World Cup 2023 during a press conference.

The squad consists of 18 members, with Babar Azam as the captain and Shadab Khan as the vice-captain. Pakistan’s first match in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is scheduled against the Netherlands on October 6, as the tournament is set to be held in India from October 5.

National Team Squad:

Babar Azam (captain), Shadab Khan (vice captain), Haris Rauf, Iftikhar Ahmed, Abdullah Shafiq, Imamul Haq, Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Wasim Jr., Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Hasan Ali, Saud Shakeel, Salman Agha and Osama Mir.

Reserve Players included Mohammad Haris, Abrar Ahmed and Zaman Khan.
