Minister for Religious Affairs Stresses Upon Unity and Tolerance

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Religious Affairs, Mufti Shakoor has said that by following the life of Prophet Muhammad, (PBUH), humanity can resolve its problems.

He stated that the manifesto presented by Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is recognised by all world jurists. The Minister said that Hazrat Muhammad taught us about protecting the rights of others through his life and character and that our Prophet (PBUH) even preached about war norms. He was speaking on the occasion of the Annual All Pakistan Naat Competition, organized in conjunction with Eid Mild-un-Nabi (SAWW) by Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television at the National Broadcasting House in Islamabad. Mufti Abdul Shakoor spoke on the occasion and distributed cash prizes between the children of different age groups. Minister also congratulated Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television on organizing the Naat competition.

Mufti Abdul Shakoor, said that Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) emphasized the importance of respecting women and elders. He emphasised learning the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) and incorporating his way of life into our own. The life of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH)’S life is a gateway to reducing extremism, terrorism, and sectarianism in society and also teaches greater social unity and tolerance.

Senator Irfan Siddiqui stated that reciting a Naat is an honour for writers and Naat Khawns. He stated that reciting a Naat is an honour for writers and Naat Khawns. He stated that reciting Naat has a long history in our Islamic tradition and Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) thanked his companions for presenting Naats. Irfan Siddiqui also said that Naat Khawni is not only limited to Muslims but even the non-Muslims have also praised our Prophet (SAWW). Senator urged the participants to study and follow the life of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW).
