QUETTA: Caretaker Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs and Prosecution Balochistan Amanullah Kanrani has strongly condemned negative propaganda against the country’s judiciary and termed it an assault on the state’s key piler. In a press statement on Saturday, the minister said that publishing of negative propaganda regarding the key piler of the state should be discouraged at all level.
Minister Strongly Condemns Negative Propaganda Against Judiciary
He said that the government should take steps to counter such negative propaganda to stop anarchy and chaos in the society. He said that there is no connection between the misbehave and free speech. The Minister added that it is the right of every citizen to exercise the right of free speech as per law. He further said that no one should be allowed to exploit the right of free speech and create chaos and anarchy in the society. He asked the people to be aware about the fake news and misinformation to deal the current challenges in the society. The Minister said that awareness drive and seminars should be organized to create awareness about the positive use of social media and media among the citizens.
