PESHAWAR: Provincial Election Commissioner Shamshad Khan said in a video message that they are monitoring the by-elections in 21 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) where a control room and complaint cell have been set up for three days after the elections.
“A central control center has been set up to monitor the election process and handle complaints,” added Shamshad Khan.
He said, “Officers at the central control along with the monitoring team are monitoring the election process.
“Senior officers from the central control along with the monitoring team are closely monitoring the election process for three days without interruption,” said Shamshad Khan.
“In addition, complaints about the conduct of the elections will be dealt with immediately,” he informed.
He said: “CCTV cameras have also been installed in sensitive polling stations, adequate security measures have been taken and people must leave their homes to vote.”
