More Dengue Cases Surface in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: The number of registered dengue cases in Balochistan has risen to 3841 in the last 24 hours, causing health emergency in the province, according to the Balochistan’s health department.

Balochistan is experiencing a health emergency as the number of registered dengue cases has surged to 3,841. As many as 62 fresh cases of dengue have been reported from three districts as Lasbela 48 cases, Kech 2 cases and Gawadar 12 cases, per statistics issued by the health department of Balochistan.

According to the health department, the overall tally of registered dengue cases has reached to 3841. The highest number of dengue patients, i.e. 2,966 cases, were reported from the Kech district, 430 cases from Gwadar, and 409 cases were reported from Lasbela. Flood in Pakistan especially Balochistan brought several diseases including dengue which is spreading rapidly.
