He added distribution is being done through the Zamzam digital platform, which integrates with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s Nusuk platform.

Meanwhile, the National Water Efficiency and Conservation Centre (MAEE) has started an awareness campaign during the Hajj season. The SPA reported the campaign is part of the “Rationalizing Water Consumption in Makkah, the Holy Sites, and Madinah” initiative, which aims to raise awareness about the importance of conserving water.

MAEE is working in cooperation with the water sector in the Kingdom to provide the best services to pilgrims. The centre is also distributing informative brochures that highlight the significance of water conservation based on Islamic principles.
