RABAT: Morocco has confirmed a case of monkeypox (mpox) in the southern city of Marrakech, local media reported. The country’s Ministry of Health and Social Protection has said that this is the first recorded case in Morocco during the current outbreak.
However, it said that the patient is in stable condition and is receiving the medical treatment. The Ministry maintained that isolation and monitoring protocols have been executed in accordance with both national and global health guidelines.
