MOSCOW: Russia on Thursday endorsed a blog post by the US journalist Seymour Hersh that claims the US was behind the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines, adding it should be taken seriously.

The article claimed that the US Navy assisted Norway plant explosives on the pipelines running under the Baltic Sea between Germany and Russia.
Both Oslo and Washington denied the claims.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov termed the article of the US journalist as very serious. The spokesperson said that it would not be fair to ignore the article. He maintained that the Western media did not highlight the article of the journalist regarding sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines.

He said that the Russia had information about the sabotage act. However, Western nations have alleged Russia for the pipeline explosion while Moscow accused the Western countries for the sabotage act.
