ISLAMABAD: Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the wife of Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik, has demanded from the United Nations (UN) to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with its resolutions. In a video message released on Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir, she stated that she wanted to expose the true face of India’s so-called democracy to the international community.

She also highlighted that five years ago on this day, India abrogated Article 370 and 35A in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Mushaal Hussein Mullick also accused India of martyring various Kashmiri leaders, including Syed Ali Geelani, and of continuously imprisoning her husband, Yasin Malik.

She urged the international community to open its eyes to Indian atrocities, describing the acts in occupied Kashmir as blatant violations of human rights.

Kashmiris on both sides of LoC, in Pakistan and across the world are observing today, the 5th August, as Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir to register their strong protest and defiance against India’s unlawful and fraudulent action taken on this day in 2019.

India in gross violation of the United Nations resolutions and international law, directly repealed the special status of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and also imposed unprecedented military and police siege in the occupied territory on this day in 2019.
