ISLAMABAD: The wife of renowned Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik and Chairperson of Peace and Culture Organization, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, has called upon the international community to play its role in getting her jailed husband freed from Indian jail.
She made the call while addressing a press conference along with her twelve-year-old daughter Raziyah Sultana in Islamabad on Monday.
Mushaal Mullick appealed to the international community particularly the United Nations to take notice of the worsening health condition of Yasin Malik. She said her husband has gone on an indefinite hunger strike until death against the brutality of India and illegal arrest with no legal or medical care in jail.
She also called upon global human rights organizations to take notice of massive human rights violations committed by the Indian occupation authorities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

She said the international community must also hold India accountable for its gross human rights violations in IIOJK.
Mushaal Mullick said she had written a letter to United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi requesting their immediate intervention to save the life of Yasin Malik from Indian judicial murder.
She said her husband is being kept in extremely unsanitary conditions and has been denied proper medical facilities. She said the international community must help in resolving the long-standing Kashmir dispute in accordance with the United Nations resolutions and aspirations of the people of Kashmir.
