RIYADH: The Motor Vehicle Periodic Inspection (MVPI) has launched six mobile stations for the technical inspection of the vehicles, under the supervision of the Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
MVPI CEO Eng. Sattam Al-Hozami has said that the introduction of mobile stations is part of the comprehensive development plans of service stations, and aligns with the Saudi Vision 2030. He further stated that the mobile stations were manufactured specifically for the Kingdom in partnership with the French manufacturer Muller.
Al-Hozami added that mobile inspection stations are vital, and enable establishments with a large fleet to have their vehicles inspected at their headquarters. These stations are equipped to inspect all types of vehicles.
