PCB management committee is powerful

The PCB management committee’s chief said that the committee had full powers and it had been given a 4-month period to work.

Sethi said that after the re-establishment of the 2014 constitution, the committee would be dissolved. Then, the Prime Minister would recommend that the officials’ names and elections would be held to fill the vacancies in the board.

Replying to a query, he said that he did not believe in the policy of name-changing of the stadiums, and that is why he did not change the name of Qaddafi Stadium when he became the PCB chairman in 2013. To another query, he said that pitches and grounds would be reviewed as cricket was changing worldwide.
