NAVTTC Accepting Application for PM’s Youth Skill Development Programme

PESHAWAR: Pakistan’s National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) is accepting applications until April 16 for the fourth batch of the Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Programme (PMYSDP).

Malik Ramzan, a NAVTTC official, said that the fourth batch has begun in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and Islamabad, with the special interest of Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

PM’s Youth Skill Development Programme

He stated that over 1,000 of Pakistan’s top universities and technical institutions have been included in this program for free education and training for youth in various disciplines. More than 100 traditional trades, such as beautician, fashion designing, electrician solar, heavy machinery operator, and so on, as well as more than 150 hi-tech trades, such as Amazon Virtual Assistant, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, and Cyber Security, would be taught free of charge to selected youth in three to six month short courses under this program.

“Youth aged 18 to 40 can apply for any of the courses and would have to appear in a test on April 18 by applying online on the NAVTTC website http://candidate.navttc.gov.pk,” he said, adding that special courses for people with disabilities were also available.
