ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA)’s Gender and Child Cell has joined Steering Committee of the Inter-Agency Working Group (IAWG).
The NDMA in a post on social media platform X shared the update on Thursday. According to the post the Authority’s had joined the global platform on January 24.

The IAWG is an international consortium of organizations that work together to promote Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Humanitarian Settings.

The NDMA stated that this is a great opportunity for NDMA’s Gender & Child Cell to collaborate with other members of the IAWG.
It added the IAWG shares best practices and contributes to international efforts to improve health issues. “We look forward to working with our partners & stakeholders to achieve our common goals,” it said.
