OXFORD: Eddie Nketiah scored twice sending Arsenal into an FA Cup fourth-round clash with Manchester City after seeing off third-tier Oxford United 3-0 on Monday.

It was both nils for over an hour before the Premier League leaders eventually bucked up and picked off their opponents with three goals in 13 minutes at the Kassam Stadium.

Mohamed Elneny scored the first goal with a header before Nketiah sealed the win for the Gunners as he took his tally to four goals in as many games since the World Cup 2022 break.

Arsenal to clash with Manchester City FC in next round

A harder test awaits in the next round when the Premier League’s top two will lock horns with Manchester City FC at the Etihad Stadium on the last weekend of January.

Averaging a goal every 63 minutes at the under-21 level, Nketiah is the all-time top goal scorer for England’s under-21s.
