RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced free entry for students attending the second Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The match is scheduled to be held from August 30 to September 3.

To secure free entry, students must attend in their school uniforms and present their educational institution cards at the stadium. They will have access to various enclosures, including the VIP enclosures (Imran Khan and Javed Miandad) and the premium enclosures (Miran Baksh, Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanvir, and Yasir Arafat), subject to seat availability.

This initiative aims to encourage students to experience the live excitement of cricket as Pakistan faces Bangladesh.

Bangladesh leads the two-match series 1-0, following their 10-wicket victory over Pakistan in the first Test, which concluded on Sunday. This series is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25.

It is important to note that the free entry policy does not extend to the PCB Gallery or Platinum Box seating areas.

The PCB also provided free entry for fans on the fourth and fifth days of the first Test at the same venue.

Fans interested in purchasing tickets for the second Test can do so online at PCB.tcs.com.pk or visit the ticket booth at Aviation Ground, opposite Rescue 1122, Rawal Road, and designated TCS express centers.

Ticket prices are as follows: Premium enclosures are available for PKR 200, VIP enclosures for PKR 500 on weekdays and PKR 600 on weekends, Gallery passes (which include lunch and tea) for PKR 2,800, and Platinum Box tickets (which also include lunch and tea) for PKR 12,500. A full hospitality box can be reserved for PKR 200,000.

As with the first Test, a free shuttle bus service will operate on matchdays with two routes for easy access to Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Route 1 will run from Aviation Ground, Rawal Road, and Murree Road to Allama Iqbal Park Entrance Gate, while Route 2 will travel from Government Satellite Town College for Boys, 6th Road, and Murree Road to the same entrance gate.
