ISLAMABAD: The National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah said on Wednesday that there was no expectation that rights taken illegally from the residents of Jammu and Kashmir by India on August 5, 2019, will be restored under the BJP’s administration.
Omar Abdullah said that Kashmiri leaderhip has been highlighting from day one that whatever has been snatched from the people of Kashmir. There are no hopes that Narendra Modi regime in India will restore Article 370, Kashmir Media service reported.
He stated that we expect the hearing before the Indian Supreme Court would be held regularly and that we want to regain our rights through the legal process.
BJP against elections
Omar Abdullah further said that the BJP has decided against holding elections in IIOJK since the party knows it won’t be able to win even ten seats.
