ISLAMABAD: Noor Xarmina, an Islamabad native, has been declared Miss Universe Pakistan 2024 in a prestigious competition held last night, emerging victorious among 21 top contenders.

The announcement positions Noor Xarmina as Pakistan’s official delegate to the 73rd Miss Universe pageant scheduled to take place in Mexico in November.

Noor Xarmina, who has lived in nine different countries, brings a global perspective to her role. Her academic journey includes achievements in biology and business, coupled with prior experience as a venture capital investor in London.

Expressing her purpose, Noor aims to elevate Pakistani performers within the international entertainment industry, showcasing the diverse talent and cultural richness of her homeland.

The first runner-up in the competition was Nimra Jacob, while other notable finalists included Karen Pinto, Anzela Abbasi, Hoor Mahaveera, and Zainab Raza.

The event, organized by Yugen Group of Dubai, was celebrated for its success in spotlighting Pakistani women’s beauty, intellect, and grace. It aimed solely at selecting the finest representative from Pakistan to compete on the global stage of Miss Universe.

“The main idea was to bring the country’s beauty, elegance, and unique diversity into the limelight,” organizers expressed.
