JAMMU, Occupied Kashmir: Five Indian troops lost their lives, and multiple others sustained injuries in a recent attack in the Poonch district of Indian illegally-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The casualties occurred during a cordon and search operation (CASO) initiated by Indian forces in the Surankote area of the district.
The deceased Indian troops have been identified as Birendra Singh, Karan Kumar, Chandan Kumar, and Gautam Kumar, while the injured include Sundeep Kumar, Shyam Sundar Das, and Todmal Dnyaneshwar Bhaskarrav.
