OEC Introduces Japanese Language Course in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) has introduced a short Japanese language course for skilled workers aiming to secure jobs in Japan as basic knowledge of the local language is necessary for job seekers in Japan.

An official source told state media on Thursday that OEC, as a public agency promoting manpower, plays a crucial role in creating job opportunities for Pakistanis abroad, thereby generating substantial remittances. OEC is currently accepting applications from eligible candidates for the Japanese language course. Applicants must have a minimum education level of middle school, be between 18 and 39 years old, and have at least one year of experience in the relevant field.

The course fee is Rs 10,000 (non-refundable), with a duration of approximately three months. There are two sessions available: one in the morning and another in the evening. Interested candidates seeking jobs in Japan can apply by visiting jobs.oec.gov.pk/jlt_form.  —APP
