OEC Launches Japanese Language Course for Skilled Workers

ISLAMABAD: The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) has initiated a short Japanese language course tailored for skilled workers aspiring to secure employment opportunities in Japan.

The move comes as basic proficiency in Japanese is deemed essential for job seekers interested in working in Japan.

As a prominent manpower promotion agency, the OEC plays a crucial role in facilitating job placements for Pakistanis abroad to bolster remittance inflows.

Eligible candidates, with a minimum education level of middle school, aged between 18 to 39 years, and possessing at least one year of relevant work experience, are invited to apply for the Japanese language course.

The course fee is set at Rs. 10,000, which is non-refundable, and the duration spans approximately three months. Two sessions are offered, with classes held in the morning and evening, respectively. Interested candidates keen on pursuing job opportunities in Japan can submit their applications through the designated portal at jobs.oec.gov.pk/jlt_form.
