The operation aimed to curb the unauthorized filling of domestic gas cylinders with LPG, a dangerous practice that poses significant safety hazards to consumers and the surrounding communities.

During the raid, the OGRA team raided multiple outlets suspected of engaging in illegal gas filling activities and seized equipment utilized in the unauthorized process. As a result of the operation, four illicit gas filling stations were promptly sealed off, signaling a firm stance against violations of regulatory protocols.

He underscored the inherent risks associated with unregulated gas filling practices, highlighting the potential for accidents and harm to public safety.

The crackdown on illegal gas filling operations underscores OGRA’s proactive approach to enforcing regulatory compliance and safeguarding the interests of consumers. By taking swift and decisive action against violators, the authority aims to uphold industry standards, promote transparency, and protect the welfare of communities.

As OGRA intensifies efforts to combat illicit gas filling activities, stakeholders are urged to prioritize safety measures and comply with regulatory guidelines to ensure the integrity and reliability of gas supply chains.
