ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has held an important meeting with representatives of oil marketing companies to address concerns regarding Pakistan’s high-speed diesel (HSD) stockpiles.

An OGRA spokesperson confirmed to the media that key decisions were made during the meeting, including the postponement of the September cargo consignment for major import oil marketing companies.

The spokesperson further added that three cargo shipments scheduled for October will be either adjusted or cancelled, while December cargo shipments will also be subject to cancellation if necessary.

OGRA has directed that existing cargo shipments already in the country be stored in bonded storage and will not be available for sale by the end of September.
