OIC Condemns Armed Attack on Foreign Tourists in Afghanistan

JEDDAH: The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Monday vehemently denounced the deadly attack that occurred on Friday in Bamyan province of Afghanistan.
The deadly shootout resulted in the deaths of foreign tourists and Afghan nationals, with several others reportedly gravely injured.
The OIC General Secretariat expresses its dismay over this shocking attack, whose perpetrators should be immediately brought to justice and due investigation should be conducted to determine the masterminds and the real motivations behind such a senseless attack.
The OIC General Secretariat renewed its call on the Afghan authorities in Kabul to intensify their efforts to neutralize any terrorist threat on Afghan soil.
The General Secretariat extends its sincere wishes for a prompt recovery to those wounded in the attack.
