OIC Coordination Committee on Tourism meets in Baku to Review Tourism Initiatives

JEDDAH: The 8th Meeting of the OIC Coordination Committee on Tourism was held in Baku on Wednesday under the leadership of Azerbaijan, the Chair of the 11th Session of the Islamic Conference of Tourism Ministers (ICTM).

The committee, which oversees the implementation of various OIC tourism initiatives, assessed the progress made in implementing the resolutions of the ICTM and other OIC programs and projects related to tourism.

During the session, the members of the committee reviewed the selection process for the OIC City of Tourism Award and discussed ways to improve it. The outcome of the meeting was a report and matrix of activities that would be submitted to relevant OIC bodies.
